Southco's microswitch grabber catch latches have an enclosed microswitch that opens and closes switch contacts with door or drawer operation. This latch is great for custom cabinets, or enclosures, to turn a light on when the door is opened. It offers all of the same features as the standard C3 latch such as preventing accidental opening or rattling while underway, and the simple surface mount installation.
There are three different pull-up forces offered. You can tell the force of your current latch based on the spring color, as illustrated in the pictures.
