Southco Heavy-Duty Rotary Latch

Southco's heavy-duty push-to-close rotary latch is the largest and strongest rotary available. This latch has a maximum dynamic working load of 50 lbs. (222 N) and meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 206 for crash test performance. A forgiving mating tolerance accomodates misalignment and flexing of long door panels or hoods, while the two-stage cam prevents a false latching condition. The R4-50 series of rotary latches can have either left or right hand actuation, and can be configured with three different mounting styles.
